You guys really want to crap on things like message boards and fanbaseās? We still average more fans in basketball than you do and tons of people actually pay money and post on ECU247 and get daily content and national recruiting. Boneyard is one of the oldest sports message boards and probably websites on the internet. Itās been around since the 90ās and thatās the reason they choose not to change their format would guess.
You also played two FCS teams, I would be hesitant to Aaaaaaar too loudly about schedule strength when 2 of your 4 Ws came against Gardner Webb and William & Mary.

Do you have any clue why? Virginia Tech dropped us last summer after a hurricane forced ECU to cancel the game the year before. It was the worst flood in eastern NC and 155MPH when we canceled but they thought we should have sacked up and went anyway. How is that on us or in our controlā¦
Does that change the fact that your team only beat 2 FBS programs this year?

No but if you canāt see a difference in playing in CUSA and the AAC game to game not sure what tell you. It was a legit power conference this year ranked higher than some of the āP5ā. We got one of the best young QBās and WRās in the nation and gave ranked teams like SMU and Cincy all they could handle, whoās to say we couldnāt beat VT, we had with losing teams before. The season wasnāt without positives moving forward to build on.
Give me a break dude. BooHoo! Sun Belt is waiting if you want to have 10-2 records every year.
And your program lies through itās teeth on itās attendance figures, in both major sports. That is all.

Iām saying you couldnāt beat Virginia Tech, glad you can find the positives in a season with two wins over FBS competition.
Letās look at those two wins, a 24-21 nail biter over ODU and 31-24 W over that juggernaut UCONN.
They are lucky they werenāt on our schedule. Weād have taken them to the woodshed on principle.
Iāve been a member of this message board since 2005. I actually liked the old format, just saying. Change is not always best. Boneyard is terrible but at this point the grandpaās that are over there itās their thing and how they roll and if they changed it they probably just lose them all to ECU 247.
We had 2 common opponents. You certainly struggled worse with Gardner Webb than we did and itās not like you beat ODU on the road by 50. Our point differential in those games was probably better without adding it up. You guys were ranked significantly lower ranked than 4-8 teams like Tulsa and USF in the AAC in the computer polls, thatās how stacked the AAC was this year. Who else are you beating on our schedule. Our differential on Sagarin was CLT 117 ranked and ECU 135 ranked.
We were up on ODU 34-14 going into the 4th and gave up a late TD, thatās a little different than the classic clash of the titans that resulted in you guys winning by 3 when you played them.
The Gardner Webb game was never in any danger as you would know if you watched it.
Our second game vs FCS wasā¦oh wait we didnāt have a second FCS game.

you had 4 wins, 2 over fcs teams and 7 point wins over uconn and odu so the quality of conference argument is not valid now.
