I heard those this past weekend - while I was cutting the grass no less.
The one sounds like an 80s song. Not sure how i feel about that. the other one sounds pretty good.
Double album though. Hope it’s as epic as the setup is getting to be.

In a SHOCKING development, both the new Hole and Stone Temple Pilots albums are mediocre-to-bad and accomplish nothing.
Ha!

Now that I’ve heard the full versions, Month of May does indeed sound like an 80s song - the same kind of sound TV on the Radio has used…
Suburbs sounds like Win has the Decemberists as his backing band… I kinda like it though. I kinda like both of them actually, though they’re much different than their old stuff.
Okay, Suburbs is really really good. Its growing on me as I listen. At first I thought it was bland, it’s really really good. They nailed the mood. Nailed it.

The link I posted was full versions as well.
I only listened to them once, I’m looking forward to the album, I hadn’t heard that it would be a double album, that is pretty exciting.

The Deadly Syndrome has a new one out, Nolens Volens.
Some of you might remember their previous song “I hope I become a ghost”.
They are a folk indyrock band.
I like them.
Rookie of the Year’s new album, “The Most Beautiful,” comes out next week.

They remind me of early New Found Glory
That’s interesting. I thought they were more a punkier version of the Sundays.

Not that punk. It’s very 90s.
