Was Radford actually a 2 for 2 or is that a typo?

Who’s up for a Radford roadtrip?! :stuck_out_tongue: We could easily take over their place and make it sound like a home game for us.They only seat 3,200 and look at section 10. It’s all ready for us.

it WAS a typo, but not anymore.

So if I’m looking at this right we have to find 10 more OOC games! Wow, I guess an early season tourny will take care of maybe 3 or 4 of them, but that’s still a lot of work to do this summer. Glad we already signed 4 recruits.

Do we get a return trip for Mercer?

We already played them at home two years ago, I was lower level for that game, was over christmas break. We won.

Is East Carolina coming to Halton? I’m sure it would be the first time ever
that an ex-Niner (Shamar Bowden) has played in Halton Arena

I’m assuming we’ll get URI in Halton and play St. Joe’s in Philly after consecutive seasons of the Rhody Rams in Kingston and the Hawks in Charlotte.

I assume so too, because other teams changed travel partners it through off the symmetry of some schedules so we got them at the same place 2 years in a row.

Bahamas? Hell Yeah. Major sign us up so I can go on vacation to Bahamas, & I’ll never criticize you kicking off Spears again.

if the Niners ever sign up for the SPI invitational, I’m there. Spend Thanksgiving there every other year. A potential matchup against Lutz and Iowa State would be interesting.

[color=green]I like us having the possibility of playing OSU and Florida. But we really shouldn’t be scheduling anymore against garbage teams like Radford and Oregon State. I’d rather us play difficult teams so the new guys and Freshman can get experience. Not to mention better SOS.

Some garbage games are okay, it’s when you have a ton of garbage games that it becomes a problem (see: VT’s home schedule in 10-11).

Scheduling BCS teams is tough since they typically don’t want to play us or they don’t offer return games. I think we need to schedule more CAA, upper-mid-major league, games.

I know Mack and Lutz were working out a deal where we would play every year. Lebo said on the radio last week that they were trying to work the same deal out to, sounded like it would happen IMO the way he was talking.

Curtis Nash played against us with one of those traveling teams for an exhibition game circa 2003-04. He torched us, too. Pissed me off. I spent the whole game screaming, “Where the hell was that last year?!”

We are looking to host a multi-team exempt event in December: http://greentintedglasses.net/2011/05/charlotte-looking-to-host-exempt-event/

Don’t know what teams are interested, but there are several east coast teams in CAA, SoCo, Big South and A-Sun power Belmont without an event for this coming season.

Miami Hurricanes have expressed an interest in the MTE we are looking to host.
