BTW, Glockner’s came out earlier in week, so doesn’t reflect Niners’ win over Butler (or Temple’s loss to Duquesne). He has Butler, La Salle, Saint Louis, Temple, and VCU in from A-10.
As you know, much depends on what the other teams do too.
Unless I overlooked someone, Palm has 5 A10 teams and only 4 ACC teams. I want to see/hear the comments of some of the ACC fans if that really happens.
LOSERS

The middle portions of the Atlantic 10: Those of you waiting for the Atlantic 10 to start making some sort of sense can keep waiting, but I'm done. It simply isn't going to happen. But with all that chaos governing the league, it seemed possible some of the more middling teams -- Xavier, Charlotte, UMass -- could extend this one-year-only 16-team's NCAA tournament contenders deeper than anyone previously assumed. But all three of those teams lost Saturday: Xavier lost at Dayton, Charlotte was handled at Saint Louis and UMass missed a big opportunity in a one-point loss to Temple. Much like the A-10 in general, there are varying degrees of résumé in that group. But the overwhelming impression of that trio is mediocrity.

Other bubble teams dropping games they should win could really help us out. After all, we have to be competing with about ten teams or so for the final few at large spots. We are competing against those teams. Also, I was just listening to the David Glenn show and he was giving us some love, called us a strong team, and said we are an at large team in his opinion.
Yea, David generally gives us a lot of love, even though he mostly talks about ACC sports (that’s where his background is). Even though he’s carried by 730, he’s based in Raleigh, so I don’t blame him as much when he spends a majority of the show discussing the ACC.

Per Palm, C-USA down to one rep - Memphis - though C-USA 3.0ers Louisiana Tech (WAC) and Middle Tennessee State (Sun Belt) are expected to win their respective conferences and make the Big Dance this season.
Others of interest are Davidson (SoCon), Northeastern (CAA), and Charleston Southern (Big South) - all Niner Ws.

UofM definitely on a roll in league play after a so-so OOC.

MT has a 24-4 record with an RPI of 23. I wonder if they will get into the tournament if they don’t win their conference tournament.
They only have on kind of bad loss to RPI 124 Ark. State. Every other team they have lost to is in the top 50 RPI. Only two wins versus the top 100 RPI though.
It is fairly likely they finish the regular season at 28-4.
