Not surprised Heath finally got booted out of Tampa. Still not sure why USF gave him a 6-year contract extension following the one trip to the Big Dance during his tenure.
Somewhat surprised by Herrion’s departure, though. The Thundering Herd really took a blow when Pittman was dismissed early on. Not easy to replace 21.4 ppg, though the trio of 1st year players Kanty (16.3 ppg), Taylor (12.8 ppg), and Thomas (12.7 ppg) really stepped up. Would think that would have been a nice nucleus to build on. As is usually the case, probably more going on behind the scenes than I realize, so would have to believe the AD knows what he’s doing here.
