Charles Bassey making a case for POTW after leading WKU to a 63-57 win over West Virginia in the Myrtle Beach Invitational. Led Hilltoppers with 13 points and 15 rebounds.

And in response on whether C-USA could be 2-bid league this season:

Evan Gilyard, SO 5-10 G, UTEP - POTW

Efe Odigie, FR 6-11 F, UTEP - FOTW

Charlotte #6 on this list.

Its worth noting that our lowest grade was “admission requirements” (meaning we care too much about academics according to the coaches polled for this). Otherwise, we are top 3-4 which should be about right (at worst) for us at this time due to the last few seasons.

i dont see how our budget is fifth? arent we second in budget behind odu? also, how is odu’s recruiting base ranked above ours? there is definitely not more prospects in norfolk than charlotte…not even close.

I imagine they are counting the entire Hampton Roads region which is like 8 or 9 cities including VA Beach, Newport News, Hampton, Chesapeake and others in addition to Norfolk.

Yep, there in the second paragraph:

Have to agree with Goodman on this, especially considering WKU’s home loss to Troy today to drop the Hilltoppers to 5-5.

They might be throwing in dc area since its within reasonable proximity. Dc area is better than here.
