Realize the RPI has been replaced, so this is now just basically something for the Miners to say “What if?”:
C-USA PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - Dec 2nd
POTW: Charles Bassey, WKU
FOTW: Jalen Benjamin, UAB
So someone posted a link to this website in one of the threads a few weeks ago. I saved the link and look at it occasionally. I found this interesting as it looks at the progression/regression over the last decade with a nice chart comparing us against our conference mates. It looks like so far this year our team is looking better than the last 3 or 4 teams. This thing changes with each night that passes, but for you guys doubting the progression I feel like this shows some.
Bassey done. Per WKU release, will have surgery performed in Houston by team physicians of Rockets and Texans.
With Bassey finished for the season and based on OOC results so far, would have to say UTEP is now the favorite to win the league.
Means Bassey will most likely play next year
Will be interesting to see what he does. Just reading Kyle Boone’s piece and Bassey had increased output this season while playing fewer minutes than last year.
C-USA PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - Dec 9th
POTW: Bryson Williams, UTEP
FOTW: Kenan Blackshear, FAU
More bad news for WKU as Lipscomb transfer Kenny Cooper denied eligibility waiver by the NCAA. Was expected to be starting PG for the Hilltoppers this year.
