I highly recommend Platypus & Gnome in downtown. Excellent food.

We’ll see four on this list:

#12: Anthony Edwards, Georgia
#38: Jon Axel Gudmundsson, Davidson
#47: Kellan Grady, Davidson
#58: Charles Bassey, WKU

Us giving them an early L would be so, so wonderful to my soul

Us beating a ranked Davidson in Halton would make us officially back. That would be a great time!

Nah, it’s just Davidson. Despite our recent struggles they still need 11 straight wins to tie the series.

Exactly…

Even when they were “just Davidson”, it was still fun beating them.

For sure, no disagreement there but beating them isn’t going to define our program.

It’s not a program defining win but beating ranked Davidson at home mean’s we’re back in action. We’ve been riding the bench for a few years on the Davidson beat downs.

How about we focus on beating JMU first.

I started following in 09 but even I remember beating Davidson at home regularly. I feel bad for the youngest generation of niners

thank you. i am nervous about this game. first game is on the road, with 9 new players, against a seemingly improved team who beat us last season.

I actually kinda like starting on the road. I’m thinking it may help the young guys focus.

As for Davidson, beating them will be a big deal. I hate that it is, but it is. Not only have they been beating us, they have been destroying us. We haven’t been on the same level in some time. It’s disgusting. Yes they would have to beat us 11 more times or whatever to get the series close, but they have beaten us 6 straight times and most are by 20+ points. For our program to get back it starts by reclaiming dominance with them.

Davidson and ECU both on this list (though on opposite ends) by Matt Norlander:

Ouch! It hurts to even think this is possible.

clt says that is awful.

I see things like this, and I don’t blame a soul for walking away.
