The fact we have an 11 man class would be why you rank 4 spots ahead of us on 247. Pretty hard to have depth filling 11 spots. Now if you want to measure it like Hoop Scoop we are top 10 in the nation in their rankings that gives weight to overall depth of the class.
I donât care for doing it that way but obviously with a class this big itâs hard to measure apples to apples regardless unless you just took the top whatever. Regardless of what they are ranked they are huge and athletic.
Debaut has the inside track to start at center over Coleman it seems reading 247. Dooley said Baruiti could even play some there. Also if the board canât handle 9 gifs wow. Most boards allow them in your sigs and they are all over the place.
I thought that @Wolf-Hart had grown up from @StillJonesing, who seemed like a 14 year old Pirate fanboy from Wilson, NC. Where I lose him is he seems to think this is a sports message board, and not a 49er message board. I actually like having visitors from other schools here, but it is a waste of bandwidth to try and convince us how good ECU is. First of all, we donât care that much, and no matter how right he might be, we are never going to be ECU fans. It just doesnât work that way. I have two modes for the Piratesâdonât care, or hope they fail. That doesnât mean that I have no interest, I just do not have much interest.

Thatâs fair. You did have several 247 articles about ECUâs summer workouts posted by your posters. I though 9 Gifs of the guys would actually be more useful and less time consuming read to get an idea of what you might face. You know and then there is that ECU thread on something as boring as ECU fiance minutia thatâs gotten bumped for over a year too by you guys not me.
We talk about you guys in a negative manner in all of our threads. We never look at the positives on ECU. And now we see this crap about you have a top 10 class because you brought in a whole new team. I guess by that math 11 one star rated players is better than 2 five star rated players right. We donât care about your players except for the night that we play them and beat themâŚagain.
You might, you might also pull a hat trick and get your third 300 plus RPI season in a row. Losing a 20+ppg scorer off a 300+ RPI team thatâs certainly not crazy. We beat Cincy last year but that didnât actually make us better than them and itâs been a while since you had an actual better season.

this guy does not bother me. i like having the banter back and forth. if he wants to tout ecu on here, so be it. i like the hoops discussion. their class is nowhere near as good as ours and he will see that.
Weâre 18-8 all-time, but I guess ECU was better team.

I agree that it definitely adds something to the discussion having ECU & App fans on here talking smack. Even if we think they are crazy they are free to feel the same way about us. Would love to be in a conference with some of these regional schools so the rivalries, trash talk & BS would be even better.

Itâs just a quick indication of size and athletic ability. You can watch the whole highlights, or even many entire games are on you tube if you really wanted too. I know you arenât and just want to dis ECU as and exhibition though. These are big athletic dudes that can shoot, which is exactly why I think there is something to work with.
How about some context. Hoop poop (which I said I donât like), ECU 247 articles these are responses to posters taking specific shots. Having 11 players in a class isnât an advantage to how itâs rated like 247 does it. Not that I really care what they ranked these guys anyway. Take Newton for example, he averaged 38ppg 9rpg leading the #5 team in Texas 5A and has some of the most impressive highlights and they havenât even graded that guy. They have Baruiti 2 star which is a joke, reports are he might be the best player on the team.
You spend so much time breaking down information that absolutely nobody cares about. I thought @itsbraille49 would always take that title, but by golly youâve wrestled it away from him with ease.
