2019 C-USA Football Preseason, Scores, and Rankings

3 years of Faison-Walden and immediate eligibility is fantastic. 1, happy for the kid he didn’t have issues being cleared. Let’s not forget he was a top 500 kid in the class.

Faison-Walden’s offer list per 247: Penn State, Georgia, Michigan, VT, Bama, Duke, ECU, Charlotte, UK, Louisville, Maryland, MS St, NCSU, UNC-CH, Oregon, South Carolina, Cuse, UT, WFU.

That said, Osborne was even higher rated coming out of Hough, 188 overall and a 4 star.

If he didn’t have an offer from App, how good could he really be? :smirk:

Those guys are not doing a good job of managing their expectations for us.

This guy wants to drop us to FCS after 6 years?

In a world of incredibly dumb sports takes by bloggers who claim to be sports writers, this has to be some of the dumbest I have ever read.

Yeah he’s a douche. The realignment plan based on geography is the better option but of course he doesn’t like that because it leaves his team, La Tech, in a weaker conference.

Someone should remind them that Charlotte and ODU have 2 of the top 3 athletic budgets. Why would you leave those two out of a conference realignment. Doesn’t make sense.

An award winning newspaper sports reporter with 7 years experience makes about $30k (personal knowledge), so an online website staffed by aspiring writers hoping to break into that “big-time” must be taken with a grain of salt. While no doubt a sports fan, you have to question the knowledge, connections, analysis and good sense of anyone trying to get into this field. I would ignore this.

Niners #119:

Niners #9.

Mixed results on opening night as C-USA goes 2-2 vs mostly FCS opponents.

Finals - Thursday, August 29th:

Gardner-Webb 28
CHARLOTTE 49

FIU 14
Tulane 42

Alabama State 19
UAB 24

Central Arkansas 35
WKU 28

Wasn’t expecting to see that WKU loss

All offseason we’ve heard from WKU fans about how much better they’re gonna be.

If we don’t beat them, I’ll be upset
