I wouldn’t be amazed to see CUSA East end next season similar to how the East ended this season.
This was always possible and the people that gave us grief knew it. That’s why they have been so focused on us to begin with.

Marshall, WKU, and MT I’d expect to be similar.
FAU loses Kiffin, FIU their QB, imagine they’d both slide back some without a phenomenal hire by FAU.
ODU has a ways to go but might be a little better.
We can do some work next year.
Now Appy is hearing the their AD, Doug Gillin, is being courted by Cincy. The wheels are falling off that choo-choo.

Drinkwitz to make $4mm/year at Missouri. Think he was getting $1mm at App. Damn that’s a big jump. Not sure Hill can “take care” of any coach when competing against that.

I think Drinkwitz was making $750,000 at App.
It pays big to be part of the Saban or Malzahn coaching tree. Drinkwitz also had Chizik backing him - two big Auburn guns. The SEC is not for the faint of heart.
Watched the rollout of Kiffin at Ole Miss and presser - Lead in was ‘Crazy Train’. I think Sankey has got plans for the SEC - they are getting much, much closer to the NFL.
Kiffin will average $4 mil+ annually at Ole Miss, plus incentives ranging from $50,000 to $1 mil.
It would be ignorant for Healy not to at least listen for at least a moment. This isn’t the case of Lutz trying to step up to South Alabama. That said, Healy should do very well with Charlotte. It is a rare opportunity; ripe and spring-loaded.
I think Missouri is sticking its neck out signing a coach who has one year of head coaching experience and was using Satterfield’s players. Does Drink have any track record that says he can recruit? He sounds and acts like a true gold digger. In my book, loyalty is still a noble attribute.

Loyalty has a price. He just got a salary bump of 5X.
Not sure I could be loyal anywhere if the other offer was for 5X my pay.

FWIW, read on opinion piece on AL.com that criticized the Arkansas search for missing an opportunity to make Drinkwitz a priority given his previous experience coaching at the high school and collegiate levels in Arkansas - not to mention the fact that he’s an Arkansas Tech grad.
