2019 Week 13: Marshall

Lambert is now a Thundering Turd. Just kidding. Heā€™s a good man, no question.

Trueā€¦but I all I wanted to do was give Charlotte a congrats on bowl eligibility . I need to pay attention to who can respond intelligently.

The W-S Journal does a much better job of covering App State than the Observer does covering Charlotte. Thanks for the congrats and looking forward to playing again in a few years.

Your mistake was coming here to congratulate us, which we appreciate, and then wondering into a sore topic for us (aka The Disturber).

Dang, yā€™all are harsh. Everyone agrees the Observer sucks. Thanks for coming over and congratulating us. Appreciate it. Safe to say weā€™re excited about the progress weā€™ve made in such a short period of time.

I agree Funny post and true.

I really liked Matt and his family. He was a very good FCS QB. That said, Was there ever a question as to what was going to happen when Matt came in his last year. Run for 2 yards off tackle. I think we made a huge leap forward with Healy and company.

BTW - new here. I have only missed 1 home game in 6 years. I have never been prouder of our guys and coaches then what I saw happen the last few weeks and especially yesterday! Go Niners!

Lambert would not have done either of these things on 4th down. He would have punted.

I was expressing our same frustration. 10,000 App alum in Mecklenburg alone. I live in Charlotte and would prefer the Disturber rather than the WiSJ.

I find your posts respectful, and helpful. Thanks for the congrats.

Multiply that 10k frustration by 8 and youā€™ll see why you might have inadvertently stirred a hornets nest.

I couldnā€™t find one directly. If you have Instagram, the charlottefootball page has a clip

One thing I forgot about what Reynolds fumble in the first half. I had a good live look and I swear the ground caused the fumble and they didnā€™t even review it. Anybody know why they didnā€™t review it?

Couldnā€™t see it well from where I was sitting in the endzone, but watching a replay of the game broadcast later that night, it definitely looked like a fumble to me.

Yeah, it was a fumble for sure. Nothing wrong with that call.

Replay official stepped on the field during change of possession. It was never announced, but they did look at it.

I watched it several times on line and it appeared to me that he hit the ground and then the ball came out. A similar one occurred later when Benny hit the ground and the ball came out. No fumble was called that time. Donā€™t care now, we won.

Yeah, not sure why people are saying it was a fumbleā€¦the ONLY replays I have seen (they are from behind) show the ball squirting out AFTER CR hit the ground. if it was a fumble, the ball would have had to have been loose before he hit the ground.
