You’ve been terribly wrong on the whole transfer issue thus far. Your predictions of doom have been way off. We actually benefitted from it and if done correctly should continue moving forward.
You’ve now resorted to “what ifs” and next times. Give it a rest a bit and see how it plays out. You could end up being right but so far you’ve been very wrong.
I hope I’m way wrong. As NA said we are benefiting from the Covid transfer impact. Once it settles out we shall see where things go. Moving up to AAC will help immensely. I just know schools were talking Jahmir after his freshman season. He stuck with us. If he doesn’t have to sit a year though? My gut says he leaves.
If Ron or whoever is coach can work the portal the way we did more years than not then yeah it may work for us. Weird flip of script here in that I’m being the negative one not you.
I just mean he’s not going to transfer now right before the season. When his next window is open to leave he will have played 3 years with 2 against eligibility.
Embarrassing enough to get beaten by a D-II but to have winning shot make the SportsCenter Top 10 is just rubbing it in. Not too mention the listed attendance of 900+ in UTSA’s gym.
Did check and TAMU Commerce MBB had a previous D-I victim in Texas Tech.
My recollection is that the AAC doesn’t allow MBB to schedule non-D-I for regular season. Good!
Probably nothing but sorta “interesting” that 3 of 4 awards have been given to players from schools that are currently expected to still be with C-USA after July 1, 2023.
Yeah. We’re going to get the shitty end of the stick from the conference at every opportunity they get, from players of the week to calls on the athletic courts and fields. They’re going to stick it to us until we’re out of the conference.
Kenneth Lofton Jr. had a POTW performance today with 36 pts and 18 rebs vs NC State. In looking over the current stats for the preseason favorites for POY:
