I agree completely. Iām damn embarrassed to be a Niner right now and am damn jealous of our other NC counterparts that seem to know how to hire the right people to bring success.

I was looking forward to the Davidson game for the first time in a long time. Planned to take my son to it as his first event like that since Covid. Probably not going to be as fun as I had hoped.
I read something about how much Halton was rocking against Upstate and I shook my head. Half the students were in diapers the last time Halton was rocking and the rest hadnāt lost their first few teeth!

Honestly, I probably need to stay away from the Davidson game. I loathe them so muchā¦ Donāt think I can take getting run out of the gym this season.
Yesterday we cant play defense, today we cant score, we may not be able to dribble or pass by Tuesday against Davidson
He at least dropped the growing and learning from the postgame talk and sounds like he realizes this wonāt cut it.
When I was enrolled between 95-98, it was standing room only. Why, because we were winning, the coaching and the players were electric, and we had actual rivals. Fast forward to today and winning is now considered a luxury and not expected, our coaches are simply boring and as such, translates to our play, and finally, we have no competition except for possibly Independence Highschool (and thatās a stretch)

The last 17 years of destroyed pride are the toughest part of being a fan.
It wasnāt hard for students to roll through 4 years here and never have any expectations for the program.
Itās those of us that remember when we had optimism and swagger and have had that beaten out of us like dogs for years and years that is awful. And yet we keep showing up and giving money. We are sick. All of us.
Yāall can blame me for this. I was one of those dreaded dual UNC/Charlotte fans until 2005 when I finally decided to stick with my school. Bball program has been a slow burning dumpster fire ever since.

I agree. Honestly, given how long itās been, itās amazing we still have the attendance we have for events.
I tore up all my Niner gear after that game. Not proud of it but itās true.
