We made sportscenter with this game at least, SVP’s bad beats segment. The 3 at the end pushed the game over.
I have revised my opinion on this game in a slight but still meaningful way:
While it did require an outlier performance from us, it was still a true road win. I don’t think I was crediting that aspect enough. Road wins against D1 teams are always quality wins.

FWIW, road wins are important in calculating the NET rankings.
