After the performance of the last two losses…I think an appropriate cyber deal would have been a BOGO deal (at least for the upper level), hell waive the ticket fee as well. Lost some momentum with those two losses and at this point, butts in seats is the most important thing for the game tomorrow.

Last two seasons I fully expected Davidson to gob-smack the Niners…didn’t happen, just the opposite. So, to avoid disappointment I fully expect Davidson to gob-smack the Niners tonight…no reason to get my hopes up.

Bob Mckillop is 71. He has looked 70 the last 20 years. How much longer does he coach? Ole Roy and K are hanging it up.
I think that could be said about any team. If a team gets open and hot from behind the line it’s tough to beat them.
If we hit our open shots at a decent clip we win tonight.

The hornets nest trophy is awesome and one of our few lasting traditions.
As far as the game I expect us to win a hard fought contest.
I always expect us to beat Davidson, period. That is built into my DNA.

I agree about the trophy. It’s ugly, no doubt, but people constantly make fun of it on here… it’s literally one of the only longstanding traditions we have. No matter how we are performing, those things stand the test of time. They are more timeless than coaches, players, administrations… we should not be making fun of it every year.
