I wouldnāt fix the typo. Actually itās not a typo at all. Pretty much sums it upā¦
I wasnāt at the game but on tv it looked like a good crowd, nice job by the students!
With the transfer portal this is a better Monmouth team then years past. Young shot the ball really poorly and was 0-7 from 3. It felt like Monmouth couldnāt miss late in the game. We did ok on the boards in the first half and then got outrebounded by 8 in the second half. On a positive note we only had 7 turnovers and forced 15.
I am really glad we won. It would have been tough to start of the year with a loss to even a better then usual Monmouth team.
In other news, UGA came back from down 5 at half to beat FIU by 7. I donāt expect UGA to be any good, but that would have been another deflator if they lost to FIU.
For the life of me I canāt understand how Threadgill can go from one of the most prolific shooters in the history on NCHS basketball, to barely being able to make contact with the rim
Love the kid, but damn !
Threadgill seemed to struggle with ball pressure last night. I think he has a good shot, but just needs the confidence to take the shot when he is open.
Momouth? Juggernaut? Are they better than the Abbey de la Belmont? Probably
Momouth? Donāt know if that was a typo, but it fits them and gave me a chuckle.
Momouth should have fed their center inside to try and tie the game at the end. I know the āruleā is to play for the win and not overtime on the road. However, they had all the momentum and likely would have won in OT.
Recognizing the very small sample size here⦠I personally remain resolute that the backcourt combo of Young/Trapp will be better than the Young/Shepherd combo of previous campaigns.
Good teams find ways to win games⦠Great teams win & cover the spread.
Completely agree, Trapp is threat and seems to have a leader mentality that this team needs. Glad to have in our house this season! They should be a deadly combo together.
I didnāt say juggernaut. I said they were a good team, well coached and a good test.

We shot 38% from the field, 22% from 3 point range, and were out rebounded by 9, and this is against Monmouth, We will not beat a lot of teams with these statistics
The average fan doesnāt know how good Monmouth is.
Lutzism
I canāt believe no one posted this yet. I stood up in my seat for this one. That was filthy.
