I don’t think his contract is that big given the offsets. Owing just the base and offsetting for any coach role. If he gets a P5 assistant job we could get out owing hardly anything.
I hope you are right. I’m just really worried that all the years left on his contract will keep Hill from making a move when it’s time.
It certainly could. Hill has to make sure we have the money on hand incase he doesn’t pursue another coaching role. I just don’t think it’s as big of a block as it appears to be.
Sanchez is young. Probably unlikely he doesn’t stay in coaching. Who knows though, major stepped away for a while.
What else is he gonna do? He’d be the most insufferable employee ever. Miss quarterly goals by 40%? “We are just one or two more little things away from getting to where we want to be. If my damn employees would stop sucking so much we’d be beating our goals”

Looks like we are going to have a lot of upset fans at the end of the year. The most likely outcome at the moment is a 15 - 18 win Niner team. For me personally, I am still holding out hope that we will have more than 18 wins.
Assuming we win tonight, I’d guess we drop the next two at the F-Us, and we head into ODU at home at 7-7. Pardon me for yawning so big.
For the rest of the regular season I think 10 wins is the floor and 12 wins is the ceiling. So between 16-18 wins is my guess. I def was hoping for more than 20 wins (and prob closer to 22 wins) in Sanchez 4th year to give us hope.
