Our pitching has been less than stellar all year. We’ve shown flashes, but no really low ERAs or anything. Pitching and free passes have killed us all season.

Bats have been our friends all year. Pitching has been good at times. Hope we get them going quick.
Coulda been a play at 3rd if 3rd base was on the bag.
Bryce just hasn’t been very good the second half of the season. We’ve still got time.
4 runs isn’t insurmountable by any means, but got to limit any further damage.
Plenty of time. Gotta get these bats going though.
That was rough. On the positive side, we average 7 runs per game and are on pace to score 9 today. Just have to do our thing. Really hate to see that for Bryce.

During pre-season and early season, pitching seemed like it would be a strength…not so much.

Pitching question for Bo…Lothes was a starter early on. While he has been good out of the pen, why could we not go back to him as a starter since those guys seemed to be struggling late in the year?

He could have. I think he was pretty valuable being able to pitch in multiple games on a weekend. He was great in the closer/stopper role. I think we may have seen him start this week if things had gone differently. He had a nice long relief outing this past weekend vs UNCW.
Another thing to keep in mind is that he is 1 of only 3 lefties we have.
