If having half ECUs attendance in a bad year and beating up on FBS bottom-feeders were enough to get the AAC invite then perhaps other schools would have gotten the invite.
Clearly, that wasn’t a big factor in the AAC s calculations.
If any G5 team hosted a top 25 ranked team at home for the first time don’t you think they’d have good attendance?
I noticed during the FAU game our defender was more focused on trying to grab the interception than defending the ball from being caught by FAU. The FAU player easily caught the pass and broke the tackle for a big gain because our guy put himself in a bad angle trying to pick the off the pass. The whole turnover trash can is fun but not if it leads our guys to make port decisions.
