Archie Herring (?), Hayden Brandon (Gaston CC), & Caleb Ketchie (Gordon State) went into the portal in the fall.

Hunter Baker also recently listed in the portal. He graduated in May and played mostly as a defensive replacement in the OF this season.
The Regionals were awesome to watch. 4 straight days of non-stop college baseball!!

The Niners were 1-5 vs Super Regional Teams this season, beating UConn, and losing to UNC, Louisville, and USM (3).
Good news is that we were competitive with those guys

We’ve created a Summer Ball page on our blog to help keep track of what our guys are up to this summer. We will continue to update this especially since we are expected to have a few guys in the Cape this summer.
Looking at the transfer portal, there are nearly 2000 names in there already. Gardner-Webb has 34 players listed there!! Not sure what is going on in Boiling Springs.
Players have until July 1 to declare if they want to be eligible to play next season.
Also, roster limit was expanded the past 2 years due to covid. They will go down from 40 to 35 next season. Not sure where all these players are going to go?
