They struggled with VMI last night.

Theyโ€™ve been struggling, but still winning and likely to get better as the season goes on.

Best player left, new coach and on top of that itโ€™s son of loved coach. Anytime someone gets a job based on name I think itโ€™s ok to call into question their ability to maintain. Davidson is ripe to fall apart and I hope we help them do just that. McKillop was an ass and their students awful.

Yep, this is the time to capitalize and get back to destroying them every year.

When we play them, we need to stop Foster Loyer with our best defensive player. He is the soul of their team

Agree, Loyer is the head of the snake. They donโ€™t have much else in the early season.

Posted this in another thread, but Davidson lost quite a bit with the graduations of Luka Brajkovic and Michael Jones, plus the departure of Hyunjung Lee to pursue a professional career. That trio accounted for 42 ppg last season.

Loyer (28.3 ppg) definitely the go to player this season. In addition, Cats are getting solid play from juniors Sam Mennenga (12.3 ppg, 8 rpg) and Grant Huffman (11.3 ppg), transfer Connor Kochera (9.7 ppg), and freshman Reed Bailey (10.3 ppg). Donโ€™t expect them to challenge Dayton, Saint Louis, VCU, or Loyola Chicago in the A-10, but should be a decent team. That said, a team that is beatable.
