I’ll believe it when I see it, brands get priority. Would love to see those cheating bastards left out.

In all seriousness, before the Heels lost last night, most bracketologies had them as a #11 in a First Four game in Dayton.

BTW, with Brey apparently still wanting to coach, will be interesting to see who makes a run at him.

I would take him in a second, don’t know if we can afford him though… hell I don’t even know who we can and can’t afford… Anyone else know?

Not sure I know the rules anymore. NC St guy was called for charging last night on a huge play when Syr guy had his feet in the restricted arc. Announcer said primary defender could be in arc and still get charge call. I did not know that and it’s the first time I saw that call.

I thought it was an automatic block call. Oh well. Live and learn I suppose

Definitely seemed like some ACC home cooking going on last night. Pack pretty much a lock for NCAAT barring an end of regular season meltdown, so working to get additional at-large teams in a down year for the conference.

I remember reading something like this some time ago and wondering how the refs were going to determine if a guy was a “primary” defender(and thus able to take a charge in the restricted area)

Just posting this for the benefit of whoever objected to my comment about Teddy reffing a game up at Davidson. He is what I said he is.

Big Ten hoops last night:

Watching the Boise St vs Colorado State game, and the color commentator is like an SNL skit - full of colloquialisms and spouting an unabashed accent. He’s a hoot.

See that #23 Boise State narrowly avoided a bad loss to #121 Colorado State. Can’t say that about every one of the five MW teams that have been in the NCAAT conversation - most notably New Mexico, which has lost four in a row and has dropped to #55.

We have more quad 1 wins than CHeat.

Jahmir led md to win over #3 purdue tonight. Just makes me want to cry. Happy for him, though.
