In the socon championship tonight the 7th seed is playing #1. In the sunbelt championship tonight #8 is playing #1. March madness indeed.
Sun Belt has been crazy. #2 Louisiana only team from upper half of league to make it through to the championship game. Regular season champs and #1 Southern Miss most likely headed to NIT but nothing official yet.
No idea if we’re among the “others” but looks like a long shot if we are.

Was told a few months ago he was transferring to South Carolina.
Bob Richey finished in the upper half of the league, just like Sanchez. Pretty much equals.

With Brad Brownell probably out at Clemson, would think Richey on the list of potential replacements. Latter interviewed for the South Carolina job last year. Has spent entire coaching career in the Palmetto State since graduating from North Greenville University.
