Rice just took Texas to OT before losing 87-81. With all the drama surrounding Texas’ coach, I meant to watch this whole game, but forgot.
Monmouth led this one 52-51 with 15:27 left in the game. Cuse slowly pulled away for the win over the remainder of the game.
This was at home (duh this is “we don’t play road nonconference games” Syracuse) too.
I hope we aren’t taking this one for granted.

That foul disparity is … interesting.
14 of those fouls on Monmouth were called between that last lead and the 1:04 mark of the game. This wasn’t just a flurry of last minute fouling.

Monmouth (1-10) is #344 per the NET. Definitely not the team they were last season but as they showed tonight vs Syracuse, can apparently be motivated to step it up.

Really hate to see this. The Appies have had a really bad month. On top of it all, I heard the Krispy Kreme in Boone was closing.
