This is my biggest sign of encouragement. For as long as I can remember we have played down to the tempo of the game / the skill level of the opponent. This is the first time I have really seen us set the tempo and control games from start to finish for multiple games in a row.
I’m probably more critical of our hoops than anybody (because I’m arrogant and think I know more about basketball than anybody), but I’ll give credit where it’s due. This team looks different than what I’ve seen in the last few years.
They look more athletic, play better D and move the ball better. We could win a lot of games against the schedule we are playing. Khalifa is as good a passing big man as you’ll see. My concern is that I don’t think we can score the ball enough to beat good teams but I hope I’m wrong about that.
I agree Hootie. Defense hopefully helps us when we get into those games where we struggle offensively. Last night the 3 ball wasn’t dropping but we still controlled the game.
A couple of guys from Tulsa sat behind me last night and told me they were looking forward to us joining the AAC since they live in VA and can attend the games in Charlotte.

Boise had a 6 pt lead over Loyola at half but they’re hammering them now. Up 21 with 3 minutes left.
I think it is going to be hard not to get Berry more minutes as we move forward. Kid is a smooth elite athlete that can be a big time defender and I think he is one of a few on the team that can get in a position to create his own shot when we need it. If he can put on about 15 lbs in the future he could be a big time player.

Looks like a ranked Texas A&M basketball team is having as many problems as their ranked football team.
Speaking of rankings, Niners have risen 20 spots in Kenpom during the MBI - from 154 to 134. Started season at #183.
NCAA NET rankings will debut early next month.
Does anyone have the 911 on Rolf ?

We could very well win the next 5 games
1 game at a time. Detroit has good guards.
And I was going to say the next six! Davidson should be the toughest of the remaining OOC sked, especially with Sam Mennenga solidifying himself as a viable scoring option for the Cats during the Charleston Classic by averaging 19 ppg.
Stopping foster Loyer is the key to beating Davidson
Got some Foster Loyer sunglasses one time. Over paid , too expensive and made me look and sound way too pretentious.
