That Lolcats win over San Francisco is an eyebrow raiser. Last I checked USF was like 6-0. They’re pretty good.
Yep, the Dons don’t seem to be missing a beat under first year HC Chris Gerlufsen.
BTW, no surprise that Loyer led the Cats with 30 and Mennenga chipped in 15, but definitely another eyebrow-raiser to see freshman big man Reed Bailey with 20.

Looking back at the Detroit loss…obviously it is a terrible loss, but we had just played 3 games in 4 days down in Myrtle Beach, then travel to Detroit 3 days later to play in an empty stadium. Its not great to lose by 20 to a team thatll probably end up 250+ RPI, but I dont think I’ve seen the “schedule loss” logic being discussed on that one.
Also, looking at the CUSA standings - most teams have played weak schedules similar to us, but its interesting to see every team so far only has 1 or 2 losses. I dont think I’ve seen that before since we’ve been in the league, even with previously weak scheduling years.
Cusa is currently 7th in conference RPI. It’s been the best start for cusa since we have been in the conference. By far.
Don’t confuse the naysayers and bellyachers with facts, man! We live in a fantasy world these days. Reality is what one says it is.
While “scouting” App just now - I was shocked to see they beat Louisville. And even more shocked to see Louisville is 0-7!?? Wow. It could be worse. It can always be worse.
Cards lost to Lenior Rhyne in a preseason game. They are really bad. Lenior Rhyne lost to Catawba Valley Community College.
