The Niners season may not be over…this person who does the CBI Bracketology has a pretty high percentage each year of getting the field correct. They have us in it as of yesterday, along with MTSU and Rice from Conference USA and in state Western Carolina. It’s March and more basketball is nice if this happens, obviously not the NCAA or the NIT but it’s something and maybe we can make a run and it keeps some of our better players from leaving or we could like at it as it’s Sanchez’s last chance. Either way it is basketball and I will root for the Niners if they are in it and hopefully something good can arise from it!
Have seen on the Tweet box that teams are announcing their participation already. Western announced a few days ago.

FWIW, three teams from last year’s CBI will be dancing this time around - FAU, Drake, and UNCA. 2023 CAA runner-up UNCW won the 2022 title.
