Got a good chance to sit and chat with Chris Fuller and Gene Johnson. Y’all that want to know more would be well served coming to things where you can chat with people that know things.

I mean I sat and talked to Fuller at the tailgate with a few other folks and I got a chance to sit and chat with Gene at the game. Building relationships with those that know things and chatting with them is beneficial.

I mean, I normally love the insight you share. But this isn’t a great post. “Just run up to higher ups in the AD and high level donors you don’t know and ask them stuff about expansion.”
You’ve built relationships over maybe several decades. You can’t just suggest a random fan expect the same engagement.

Im not saying that at all, sorry if it came off that way. I’d love more people to come out and join us at the tailgates and events so they can build those relationships. Fuller talked to me and a few other folks. We asked about conference status, about Jahmir, about MP. My wife talked to him for a long time about Ron. She was drunk so I’m still trying to figure out what she heard and what she thinks she heard LOL
Gene you are right a little harder but he LOVES to talk Niners and will talk to nearly anyone.
My point was mostly relationships matter and you can’t build those things if you don’t join in.
For the info - he doesn’t think Jahmir is gone but we will have to wait and see. Between draft and other schools and prob all he has options. MP is proceeding and fund raising is going well. Hope to share something soon. Conference stuff has been crazy and schools are basically not talking to each other. We are fighting to get a share of exit fees of sbc3 because we are still full members. Gotta decipher drunk memory for Ron.
That’s my whole point though. I have FSLs. I drop by the normbulance occasionally during tailgating. I come by enough that you know my face even if you don’t know my handle. And if I tried to interact with folks the way you do they wouldn’t give me the time of day.
Edit: I’m not trying to say you haven’t put in effort to build those relationships, just saying our AD doesn’t look to build relationships with the general fan.

You might be right but I hope that isn’t the case. I’m not a big donor I’m just an idiot with an ambulance. I would be happy to make introductions and connections to anyone that wants that audience.
I didn’t mean to come off as an ass - certainly didn’t mean to. I appreciate everyone that comes by the tailgate and I don’t mind sharing info that I hear that I’ve been given clearance to share. I guess here lately when I share stuff I got folks getting pissed as I’m just trying to explain what they are doing, specifics around the MP.
Anyway Saturday was great, had a great time and we had a good turnout for the game. Fuller is a good dude. Will was fun on the mic. Had a good time but my wife had a better time.
I had an absolute blast at the tailgate too, we really do the Spring Games right.

Look, I don’t think you’re an ass at all. I really appreciate the insight you bring to this forum and the excitement for tailgating. I’m just saying that you have a different interaction with the AD than the regular fan, even if that fan has had FSLs since the first season.

Agree. Thats crazy to not have q of them included. I wouldnt be surprised if all 3 end up in the league.
On paper this looks like a 3-9 season. Could cost Healy his job, but Hill seems “tolerant” under certain conditions (re: Sanchez).
My dream is for a NINER or more to play for the Panthers and become a star.
