And there is the “job” we seem to always get against CH. …the call wasnt terrible, but could have gone either way. The problem was the demeanor of that ump. No way he was giving us that call after the demonstrative exchange with RW.

Why is that call even considered Interference? Austin was not out of the basepath, did not overrun the bag nor attempt to get in the way of the fielder. Is it a requirement to slide into 2nd?

Odd play. Soft liner up the middle with runners on 1 and 2 with 1 out. SS fielded and tagged bag. Knight went straight in and didn’t slide and runner beat throw to 1. Shoulda been 1st and 3rd with 2 outs but ump called interference on knight. Bad call I thought
