Mid week game at Winthrop moved to Wednesday due to bad weather forecast for Tuesday.
Big weekend at the Hayes as we host nationally ranked Southern Miss. They recently took a series from LaTech and are probably the best team in C-USA at the moment.

We really need a big crowd for all 3 games this weekend. Can our fans sell out the Hayes for all 3 of these games? That would be huge.
We will be tailgating Saturday on 4/9 Day bright and early, so come out and spend the day at the Hayes.
Not sure…and really not sure why we had a guy with 2 at bats all year in there late either. ??? He came to bat with bases loaded and 2 outs in a 2 run game…and strikes out…i have watched, listened to or at least followed live stats for probably 95% of our baseball games the last decade and i will continue to do so, but im officially worried about this team. Coming off our worst weekend of the year, we get beat up by a pretty bad Winthrop team who had 10 non pitchers in uniform. Not good.
Baker has only 2 hits in I believe 26 at bats so I understand why he was pinched hit for but that is why I questioned taking Butcher out to begin with.
Thats a terrible loss…there are a lot of games left, but these kinds of losses will come back to bite us when it comes to post season…and we have a very tough team coming in for 3 this weekend. We had better get out of this funk, in a hurry or we could see a 4 game losing streak extend to 7.
I know McCabe is still battling the injury, but what the heck is up with AK? I know he got a HR tonight, but he has done very little recently on offense for the most part and almost nothing at all in clutch situations…lots of strikeouts. I think he only has 2 doubles all season after leading the nation with 29 last year. ???..i know Woodard was probably trying to save some BP arms for the weekend, but after last weekend it feels like it might have been worth using someone else late to get back on track with a win. Kramer was atrocious and has been all year for the most part.
