I said those certainly hurt-----but all the hits were off his arm-----in one inning.
This may work to our advantage. A couple hour break may cool Bell down. 5 Ks in 3 innings.

What you said was we outsmarted ourselves with our choice of starting pitcher. A more accurate statement would be that our pitcher, whoever he might be, was let down by shoddy fielding. If we can’t catch the ball, no pitcher is going to be effective.
All the runs were unearned. Was it a poor decision to start the infielders that we did?
Gibson did the same thing on Thursday night the first time through our order. Was perfect through 3. The second time through he gave up 5 Runs and didn’t make it out of the 4th inning.
