ok, then who would come here, we are the 131st out of 131 D1 CF programs in the US? I would love to hear a list of assistant coaches from D1 P5 programs that will take a paycut to come here. All we would get is another unproven coach. That new coach is going to say on introduction conf call, going to take some time etc… We already have a guy that does that. You want to pay him 1m+ to walk away and then we have no money to pay a new guy. reality sucks
Was going to say perhaps we are the worst FBS program but not in all of D-I but gotta rethink that too!

A few Harris teeters in town have bars. They’re a good place to watch because you can get the paper bag for your head on the way in.

We will pay plenty to get a solid coach. Current sate doesn’t matter as much as if the new coach believes they can win here. New stadium, stepping up in leagues with better TV coverage and in a place where you can recruit and great team facilities. There are plenty of positives. I get it that current state is shit, but there are plenty of things attractive about the role. Now can we hire the right guy? That I can not answer.

We play Maryland home/home so the money exchange is basically a wash. On the other hand we paid William & Mary $300k to beat us.

But do we really want players that are coming here because of playing time, players that come here because they dont want to compete for a position, it seems that we have a roster full of guys that have no heart and competitive spirit that came here for playing time

Guys are undisciplined and are not pushed to their potential. Both coordinators/strength staff need fired now, if Healy wants to buy another year. I’m not, he will be put at end of season if he doesn’t win some games.
