We offer no resistance on D. None. We can’t stop the run, there’s blown coverages galore. What is out me identify? I honestly don’t know, are we trying to pressure? Trying to play zone and cause mistakes? It’s so bad who knows.
Despite the weather forecast we had s decent atmosphere and once again utterly failed to deliver a good product, something of which to hé proud.
The offense looked ok and we could have pushed them if we could have done anything on D. Unfortunately we can not.
Hard not to like Healey. I really wish he could have got it done. IMHO, I think he gets one more year, next year he overpays for new assistants that have experience, maybe even some have HC experience, and we see what happens. I hope he isn’t hiring his replacement next year, but the odds are he is. Reality is, who would come to this dumpster fire at this point? Even if he isn’t the long term solution, we need him to be successful somewhat to get a decent HC in the future, if needed. It’s easy to say fire someone, but we are the worst D1 team in the country at this point. Why would you come here?

We should not force any of our student athletes on defense to be part of the post game presser. Let the coach or defensive staff answer any questions about the D.

Firing in season let’s the replacement process start but I don’t think that makes a big difference as many of our candidates - ie Sat, are still playing. As long as we pull the trigger immediately at the end of the season should be fine time wise.

I still don’t get the initial hiring of Healy in the first place. Young guy with very little experience and success.
DuBose could play free safety and still light it up on offense better than what we have.

Disagree. Healy knew he needed to fix the defense going into to this season after the way they played last year. He brought in new assistants to fix things. It’s been a failure. He should not get yet another year to try again and find more new assistants. He’s had his chance. New conference next year, time for a new coach.
