We just donāt have the dogs on defense. A team averaging 95 yards a game on the ground almost hit 300. So many missed tackles it was like watching the Washington Generals against the Globe Trotters.
Have to fix the run defense or we are done, done, done.

Tale of two halves.
Our defense could not tackle after making initial contact. Wrap them up and make the tackle!
Very unlucky with interceptions. Bounced off our receivers hands and right into theirs.
Halftime adjustments by SC coaching staff was definitely better than ours, by far.
This score could have been, maybe should have been, more competitive.
Love our coach but we do not seem to have the maturity and experience around him to be successful.
There is nothing more important now than expanding our stadium. We need to bring excitement to our program. Expansion will help sell our program to recruits, coaches, alumni, fans, the community, and beyond. This beautiful but extremely small stadium is holding us back.

We were badly beaten at the line of scrimmage all night which is a continuing theme of this season. And it wasnāt just an SEC school doing it to us, FCS William & Mary did it too. Whether it was Reynolds running for his life far too often, or SCās anemic run game piling up record breaking yardage, we are terrible in the trenches.
Add to that bad tackling by the 2nd and 3rd layers, and you understand why we give up so many points.
We have a dearth of OL/DL talent and Iām afraid nothing will fix that. Itās been super frustrating watching the staff each offseason not adequately address this issue. Before Healy or anyone else says recruiting OL/DL at G5 level is hard, why do so many other of our peer programs not have such a problem with this?

Love Healy as a person and hate to see him leave but if he is not let go after (or before) this season then Hill should be fired.

The color guy stating it was time for SC to start working on itās vertical passing game when it was up 40 points in the 4th quarter was classic.
When Carolina played Ga St, Lloyd rushed for 30 yds on 11 carries (2.7 avg). Carolina only had 79 yds rushing as a team. How we can do that much worse against Carolinaās rush than what Ga St did is crazy to me. Healy and staff arent cutting it and must go. The defense on the field every week is laughable. Change it up Hill!

I still canāt get over our coach asking a sideline reporter if she could see his black eye because he injured it celebrating at half time while we are losing 20-14. Then we come out of that half and get rocked.
