Games like last night are some of the worst. We led the entire first half and it didnāt feel like it. I felt worse and worse as the half dragged on. And a lot of us knew it. You could just feel that we were poised to lose that game. And then what I and a lot of us knew at 10 minutes happened. I can handle losing, but losing with those teamsā performances is painful.

We expected a sucky season. We got the best season we have had in a long ass time. The close of the season sucked. Considering it should have been a write off, we are ahead of schedule if Fearne can manage the roster.

I agree. Chemistry seemed to be an issue last 5-6 games
FAU is a better team than Charlotte and Temple is doing better vs them. It just happens.

Since the Observer article on Igor. Singling out one player when we were playing as a team, is a kiss of death. Like it or not it mixes feelings of these young people.

So the rule of thumb this year for the AAC tourney was to not get a double bye.

Fau is pretty much a lock. Neither of our seeds will be great though.
FAU probably a 9-10 seed
UAB probably a 13
Temple might be a play in game as a 16 lol. Probably not because I doubt theyād give an aac team a 16, but theyāre a 14 at best.

Wow- I did not see Temple winning against FAU. This has been a crazy conference tournament.

Step back from the ledge. Teams rarely go from worst to first in one year. The trajectory of 49er basketball has been altered and that we can build on. Iām optimistic about Fearne can do in his first season of recruiting. AAC is a decent BB conference.

Agree NA, had already decided I was going to be happy with the season if we got
one win in the Tourney. Still better than we expected, but these opportunities are rare
and everything was in place for us to make a run.
