This sucks. We suck. Hopefully next year. Same old story.
Temple wins four-straight after getting accused of shaving points. Team appears pissed off. Maybe we should shave points next year and go on a run in the post-season. The announcers pointed out that one bench was active and jumping around while the other bench was sitting and sulking and then they showed video proof in two side panels. Thatâs some good camerawork by ESPN.

After not sleeping most of the night, my thoughts:
- In the first half, 9 turnovers and countless wide open missed jumpers kept Temple in the game when they were shooting worse than us
- They packed the lane smothering Jackson and Igor down low because we could not hit wide open outside shots
- When their âcenterâ hit back to back 3s it took Jackson out of the lane and they drove almost at will against our smaller guards
- Folkes was terrible on both sides. Great athlete but his inability to be any type of outside threat allowed them to play 5 on 4 basketball
Good year all the way around. Would have felt better if we had at least gone to semis

I really believe Fearn got the most out of this team. Our talent level was below almost every team in the AAC. Once they figured us out the only thing we could do was hope our shots fell like they did in the EC U games. More contribution from Folkes, Braswell, and threadkill and we would have won against Temple. FAU and South Florida at another level. Both could be dangerous in the NCAAT.

Coach was alluding to the AAC guards being bigger than us. He said that we need to address how we defend against that in the off season.

Usually I give up on the season somewhere around the beginning of conference play. It was nice to care in March again.

Basicslly roster talent and no bench caught up to us late. Something with Patterson was off late in the year. Hoping it was not a chemistry problem but effort by the team chsnged a lot late.
Anazing we did what we did this year. Need to flip this roster. I know Fearne can coach now we will see what he does with the unknown variables. I think 1 assistant gone and at least 4 transfers. Most exciting and depressing part of the season.

We cannot have 3 PGs start next year. Need at least 2 guards that can hit upper 30s from the 3. Both do not need to start.
Obviously it was a great season and went much better than any of us expected. We werenât the same team after the loss at Memphis and ran out of steam. The unknown with Fearne is recruiting and his use of the portal. I am very disappointed we played so poorly last night, tough way to end the year. I am excited to see how next season goes.
Patterson i believe had 3 big 3âs in second half, a couple of them really kept us from being blown out during big runs by Temple.

This NCAA drought is brutal - donât feel like there will be many chances left to make it if things go Sankeyâs way. It sucks for students - you canât be abysmal in your key sports if you hope to gain & retain fans especially here when people brainwash you to thinking only certain leagues/teams matter. 19 years.

Honestly, I would have settled for just winning a game or 2 in the AAC tournament. Canât even get that.
