Seriously, though, losses aside, Iāve been pleased so farā¦dealt a tough hand and yet the team plays hard and will hopefully be middle of the pack in the AAC, which would be a decent season under the circumstances.

Today is going to be really interesting. Fearne has 2 hands tied behind his back and is still doing good things. I feel he would have probably recruited differently as head coach and Iām betting we would have had a shot at keeping Williams. Then you also have to wonder how many on the staff does he want to keep?
For me a close loss or a drubbing doesnāt matter today. Itās gonna be about the body of work.
If we hang with duke today thatās progress. For a player you never want to be happy with a loss. But for fans a close loss can absolutely show a team growing and learning and we can be happy about that vs a team that is and basically always has been out of our league every time we have played.

Thats an enormous upgrade from CUSA. A few years ago I would have despaired of ever getting that kind of exposure again.

From my recollection of their ads for upcoming games (football and hoops), they are carrying almost exclusively contests that the ACC has a 90% chance of winning against non conference teams. Iām not excited at all to be a part of the pumping up of that sorry ass conference.
