Looks like a strategy similar to last year.
Try to get as many wins as possible so we don’t have to fire a coach. I think it’s more out of fear that we cannot pay for a suitable replacement. So…get enough wins that you can justify keeping the interim.
The tread water approach Mike seems to like for basketball.
Actually pretty typical AAC schedule. Only FAU and Memphis all D-I. UAB and Wichita State have decent OOC, but any thoughts that “moving up” would mean better non-con across the league isn’t happening.
Especially not when our program is hot garbage and we are trying to find wins any way we can.
When will ticket packages go on sell? Now that Sanchez is gone I feel like coming back to catch a few games.

For (hopefully) the last time, Mike Hill does not make our basketball schedules. Whether he has input or not is an internal issue and one that I doubt you have one iota of information about.
Why don’t we play Queens now that they are D1? We haven’t played Winthrop in over a decade. Do they not want to play us?

I am somewhat optimistic about the season. I will be surprised if Fearne is not a better coach than Sanchez. Fearne was two time coach of the year in a top 5 pro league in the world. It has to be an improvement.
