How many outright or shared Conference regular season titles have we had? I would guess 4, if that? Not sure how many in the 70s of those 4, 2?
If Fearne can keep the guys here for next year you have to extend him.
Unfortunately you won’t have the luxury of knowing that when it’s time to make a decision on whether to extend him.
That’s Mike hills problem, not mine

Not a coach in the NCAAs that can do that with NIL and the portal.
Caveating by saying if this and if that with Fearne at this point is just being blind to what we have seen this year.
yeah I saw this today. IMO it’s a huge dis to the AAC, they have us as the Conf winner and seeded 13th. App winning the Sunbelt is a higher seed and the Southland conf winner McNeese state from the great state of Mcneese is seeded higher also. Is the selection committee the Observer sports dept?
That’s from Joe Lunardi’s latest ESPN bracketology. FWIW, it’s one of very few - I’ve seen one other - projecting us as an NCAAT participant.
Just keep winning and we will be seeded above Sun Belch. Our issue is dropping some of those ooc games.
This is actually classic Charlotte NCAA resume. Struggle ooc with a few losses we shouldn’t have and then turn it on in conference and get a crappier seeding that the team probably should have gotten.
New coach, new players, understandable that we lost some of those early games.
Any predictive bracket is simple taking into account the current NET rankings. McNeese is 34 spots better and App 19 spots better. Basically they are taking the teams in first and seeding them based on that nothing more or less.
Lunardi also taking into account that we are currently in first place in the conference standings.
Way to early for this conversation.
Anything prior to winning the aac tournament is premature. Unfortunately an at large is not a realistic possibility.
There is one service that projects us with a 55 NET at end of regular season. A nice run in the AAC tournament on top of that and it’s not out of the question.
