So hyped for this game, this may be the most important football game in our short history, this game is receiving a lot of publicity nationally, due in part to Biffs swagger and that he is coming home to play the hometown team, but with a victory in this game it just opens up our program to advancements in national recruiting, brand recognition, and overall exposure, the Marshall and Duke games were great for the fan base but winning this game on national TV benefits our program like no other game previously

ESPN giving us a 10% chance. Iâd say thatâs close to accurate based off what we know so far. This team beats us 8 or 9 times out of ten on their home field. But tonightâs our shot to get that 1 outta 10.

In less than a yearâs time Biff has done something I wasnât sure was going to happen again. Heâs brought me back to the prime Lutz years we had. The only difference is the sport.
We recruited above our weight. The chip is back on the shoulder. There is a swagger to the team and coach. Itâs us against the world. Tonight we go into a national tv game and I feel like we can win it against a big dog.
Regardless of the outcome, thanks to Biff! Now, letâs go punch them in the mouth.

I donât think we need to win the game for this to be a net positive for the program. We just need to be competitive and look like we belong on the same field.
At a real football geek level just beating the point spread would be a win but I think we need to do better than that for the normies to appreciate us.

I agree totally. It would also help if we manage to have a lead late in the game (gets more eyeballs to change the channel) and/or make a couple if big plays that go viral like an INT return or something else Top Ten worthy. Clearly a win would be ideal, but looking like we belong is about more than the score to me but also if we display that gritty defense and/or some explosive offense for all to see!!!

Anyone know if we can expect to see Larson in the kicking game? Was looking forward to having what seems to be a more reliable kicker.
Looking like a big thunderstorm rolling thru 2/4 hrs before kick and also about 11. Game time looks clear tho
