ESPN FPI rankings now has us ranked 132 out of 133 FBS (Kent st at 133, lets keep them there!!) , Navy at 111.

I will be cheering for the Niners, of courseā¦but Dad and Grandfather both graduated from the USNA (1927 and 1954)ā¦served briefly myself. Navy was one of my two teams to root for as a kidā¦Iām conflicted. But the Niners gotta win this gameā¦weāve gotta figure out the offenseā¦itās killing this team.

I donāt think Iāve ever had as many requests for tickets as I have for this game. Itās awesome.
Speaking of which, Iām debating Ubering to and from the game but would like to have a couple of drinks and watch some games after while traffic dies down. Anyone try that Golden Owl place out? Not sure if it gets jammed up after the games or not.

Weāre averaging 18pts per gameā¦and still donāt know who our QB is after 5 games and a bye week.
We are more likely to finish under the 3.5 that we used to think was insulting.

I love CivilNiners green tinted glasses, but yeah letās just take it a game at a time, maybe the coaching staff had an awakening over the by week and we win Saturday, then we can take it from there.
The season starts over this weekend. Our guys are either hardened or worn out by this extremely tough pre-bye schedule. We could get to 6 wins, and that would make this a very successful rebuild season. If we get only 5 wins, it is a losing rebuild season. How we play against Navy will probably show if this team could legitimately get to a bowl, or if will be lucky to win more than 4
