To be honest I think it’s fair. We are breaking in a new quarterback and receivers in front of 110,000 people against a team that will most likely be in the CFP this coming season. They will probably absolutely destroy 9 or 10 teams on their 12 game schedule this year. All I’m hoping for is we come out without any significant injuries and maybe stay competitive for the first quarter.
What opponent are you talking about?
We play @ Michigan to open this coming season. If we lose by less than 5 touchdowns I’ll be thrilled.

This IS a thread about AAC football and ECU IS a member of the AAC. Looks like it’s going to be a good rivalry!
Will be rooting for you in that game and every game other than ours. A rivalry with ECU means more if you are doing well

I am looking forward to watching you guys play now that Biff has brought in some talent. I am very curious to see how his roster flip works out year one. I am pulling for you guys to turn it around sooner rather than later because the ECU vs Charlotte game could turn into a very solid in state rivalry. Will be the first time we’ve had another NC team we get to share a conference with in football.
The ECU rivalry in football, provided we are better, is one of the top things I am looking forward to in the AAC. If the game is competitive every year it could become something really special.
