Found out this weekend that Austin Knight had successful knee surgery on Friday. He had a tear on one side that I assume he injured during the C-USA Tournament and played through it the rest of the season. One of many injuries he battled through the last 2 seasons. Hats off to Austin for choosing to play here at Charlotte and leaving it all on the field.

I know this league supposedly isn’t as good as last years CUSA but its a good looking league. WSU, Rice, and ECU have good history. The remainder of the schools have had a fair amount of success and are commited to baseball.

Portal update:
D1 Transfer Tracker has RHP Ryan Lobus from Mercer heading to CLT officially. Was one of our 5 commits from a few weeks ago. Good arm that was a weekend starter for Mercer.
On the other end, the tracker lists Will Butcher has entered the portal. He has graduated and is looking to test the waters.
Also Christian Lothes has announced that he is transferring to Toledo.

Yes he was. I know defense is a priority at 1B and Nolan did a great job over there.
Incoming JUCO Goolsby will likely be in the mix at 1B. He’ll have competition from the portal.
