Cam, Jake and Wyatt are big shoes to fill !
Dragum and Knight have held down the infield for the past 3 years too. Its hard to replace guys like that.
We are losing roughly 74% of our Total Bases on offense, & 70% of our Innings Pitched on the pitching side. That’s why we’ve reloaded with 31 new guys.

Caught a few innings of the scrimmage on Friday. You definitely needed a roster to figure out who was playing where. Got to see freshman Sam Dansky homer, and Florida transfer Rene Lastres homer. We spent most of the time figuring out where everyone was playing so not many in-depth observations to share.
Here’s who we saw by positions:
C- Hopson*/ Lastres
1B- Correa/ Goolsby
2B- Taylor/ Fuller
3B- Stahlman*/ Furcht
SS- DeFranco*/ Pendley
LF- Sutryk/ Hendricks
CF- Nolan*/ Bayne
RF- Ector/ Dansky
On the mound we saw Carson, Haire, Spolyar, Baker, and Rossi. Haire also hit so he may be a 2-way player. Good to see Rossi back. His velo was up but I believe he gave up the HR to Lastres. Looking forward to seeing more!

4 bombs early Furcht, two from Bayne and a Cam like shot over the left field light pole from Nolan !
One thing for sure we have a #1 starter and a closer.
Langhore was lights out and Rossi was untouchable !
96 & 97 on his fastball !

Late to post this but I was able to get there to see BP, infield/ outfield and the first 2 innings before I had to leave.
Here’s our lineup vs Walters State:

Nolan CF
P Hansen
13-0 victory over a very good JUCO program (Cam Fisher, Andrew Lindsey, & Harris Yett came to us from there). I was there for the Carson Bayne HR to RF, and the moon shot to LF from Spencer Nolan 2 batters later. Cam Hansen looked good in his 2 IP. I really wanted to see some of our new guys on the mound but had to leave before they got in. Can’t ask for better results than 0 runs allowed I guess!!
