Fun game. Gorgeous weather Saturday for the one and done. Dodged the sun as long as possible and took a spot in the stands.
Great to meet some parents. Nice we all got to have our sons introduce us and lunch was yummy!
Looking forward to first pitch dinner end of January
Long drive home to Texas. You know Texas is big when you cross the state line and still have 6hrs to get home (1/3 of the 18 hr trip).
Good to hang out all week with Christian and see the area . Highly highly recommend Early Girl Eatery! Best fried chicken sandwich ever! Wow!

Foul tip hit the catcher’s hand/fingers. Glad he was able to play through. Looked painful.
Glad to see he hit 91 on Stadium Radar. They said trackman had him top at 92.
Both Lang and Rossi topped 97 and got the scouts all giddy and chattering.

Good Fall season. The defense has made good progress. I really like some of the new bats. I would say the big keys as we head toward Spring are 1) can we get enough top end pitching to allow Rossi to settle in as closer. He would be devastating in that role. He’s got the arm and the mentality. 2) Hopson looks to be holding runners better behind the plate and Lastres has a cannon. If we can improve in that area, it will be huge.

I hope that is true about Hopson. That was a killer for us last year.

Statistically speaking, his hold rate is up. Kaeden’s best skill is receiving. Lastres’s best attribute right now is his power at the plate.

I think the fact they have been together bolt a few years has helped us hold into both of them.

I couldn’t be happier for the two of them!! I am very thankful that both of them chose Charlotte in the summer of 2019. Great coaches and great people!! We are lucky to have them.
