The weather is looking like Louisiana in May. That’s a fairly unforgiving schedule if there are the expected thunderstorms mid week. I hope we are not affected by delays.
The Niners were royally screwed over by the league on the softball awards. They should be embarrassed that they even released these winners.
The “Conference Coach of the Year” just got run ruled by Ashley Chastain 2 days ago, with the title on the line.
Kass Krupit got robbed of player of the year. Her numbers were so much better than the UAB player that won it. It seems very corrupt.
Damn, that is pretty bad. Unless I missed something, KK literally has better numbers in every stat.

When we win the conference tournament,will they give the trophy to UAB?

It all boils down to petty jealousy on the part of the league’s coaches. They got used to penciling in Ws against CLT and now it has come to an end. They decided that a Niner wasn’t getting player of the year 3 years in a row no matter much Kass deserved it. There’s literally no way to spin the decision they made. It’s truly unfortunate that they took out their frustrations on a student-athlete.
Let’s go win the tournament and send them all home to stew in their own jealousy.
I am looking forward to this tournament! Man, I hope the ladies win it.

Who should be coach of the year? What a joke!
This is a monumental season. I think we’re in a good position for an at large bid to the FIRST NCAA TOURNAMENT APPEARANCE IN PROGRAM HISTORY.
I’ve seen us projected in Tallahassee & Durham Regionals. Hopefully we get a drivable regional and our team can get rewarded with a big crowd supporting them.
Host team eliminated in the first game of the tournament.
Charlotte will face FAU tomorrow. They will probably pitch their conference pitcher of the year and we will probably pitch Sam Gress. Good way to determine which one really deserves the award, though I have to say that the FAU pitcher will be facing a stronger lineup than Sam will.

Yes looking at the box score from earlier this season, Sacco shut us out in Game 2. Then pitched first 2 scoreless innings in game 3 since it was a double header.
Sacco also pitched 96 pitches last night. The Sassy Pony is well rested and ready to go!!
