This regional is going to be very difficult for anyone other than Duke to win. I expect them to rout Mason without using their best pitching, while Campbell and Charlotte may have to use more pitching than they want. That would set Duke up nicely for the second day, and if they win that game, for Sunday as well. Whatever happens, lots of pride in our season.

Just looking up some things on Campbell. Their likely starter Isabella Smith, who pitched 12 innings (199 pitches) against us in the 2nd game of the season, is 3rd in the NCAA in most Innings Pitched with 233.1. Sam Gress is 9th with 205 IP.
Gress is 21-12, 1.81 ERA, 140 K, in 205 IP. 8 CG.
Smith is 28-10, 1.94 ERA, 235 K, in 233 IP, 19 CG. She pitched in 46 of their 57 games.
Campbell won the 12 inning matchup early in the season against us, but against common opponents Campbell was 6-11; Charlotte was 9-3.

Delayed but not sure how long yet.
So…the ESPN graphic showed Boo is second in HR’s in the Big South…thats quite an accomplishment
