Cavs are just gonna love Sanchez in charge
Probably will since nothing changes for the most part if Sanchez is in fact named interim.
Interim or gets the job??
Probably want to continue with that Pack lineš¤£
He did not run the UVA system here. He ran some sort of approximation but after his second or third year here I spent hours and hours closely studying UVA tape. What they did was not happening at Charlotte.
Who knows if he can coach without Tony.
Anyone have the feeling this was in the works from the get go when Ron up and quickly left us high and dry.
I am happy with how it turned out for us but I am no believer in coincidences like this at UVA.
I question the common sense of anyone who doesnāt think thatās exactly what happened.
I hope you donāt mind that I reposted this.
Interesting tweet.
I watched todayās press conference and Bennett and Williams both came across as sincere in their respective comments. Bennettās contract had recently been extended through the 2029-30 season with an additional year to 2031 if he was still coach in April 2026, so claiming he was denied two more years etc doesnāt make any sense.
Anyway, Sanchez gets this season to prove himself worthy of leading the Cavs.
Is there an early over under on ACC Tourney wins for UVA this year??ā¦ Did he win any Conference Tourney games here?
Cavs first ACC game will be vs SMU in Dallas on Dec 7th. Also, league tourney at Spectrum this season.
Well, unlike most sports pundits, thereās no āTony, congrats on your retirement!ā coming from Forde:
Oh yeah, no worries. My Twitter is public. Again, not any first hand info from me, I just spent a little bit going through UVAās board earlier and stumbled across this.
No denying the system is broken:
There was one thing I didnāt find completely sincere from Carla Williams - her comments about needing government intervention to āfixā college athletics. The usual cliche ridden spiel most likely being coordinated by the folks in Indy.
The college sports is broken crap is BS.
There is a line of coaches out the door wanting the UVA job and every other D1 job.
If some coaches have left because of the changes then that means they canāt adapt and it also means they have amassed such a fortune they can walk away from huge salaries.
Boo Hoo.
