I don’t think it was just money. No way Williams stays to play for Ron. The fact that he was gone was too little too late.
We had a buffoon at the helm for five years. We had some really good players come through but they all left.
I do agree we may have been able to keep some with money, but Igor could win a national championship. We weren’t able to offer that.
Igor is the first player we’ve had since Pierria Henry or Phil Jones that you look at and say “That guy has a chance to play in the NBA.” I love Jahmir and Jon Davis, but neither of them quite met that standard either.
And Charlotte was picked to finish 8th for 2024-2025 and will finish in last place for the season.
He undoubtedly overacheived last year and undoubtedly underacheived this year if we are using the preseason poll as the measuring stick.

I’m aware, and that’s impressive.
I did not look at him in college and feel like he had a chance at the NBA. He’s an incredibly hard worker, and has done tremendously well for himself.
I actually get the Lutz jabbering as tiresome as it has become, well has been for a while. But the Biffers are just freaking annoying.
The program was an embarrassment. Undisciplined, no accountability and just overall no fun to watch. It was painfully obvious to anyone that cared to see he didn’t want to be here anymore. About half the games we disputed leaving the tailgating lot to come in watch the crap that was on the field.
Give the Biff shit a rest already.

So we lose to Rice, we done with fearne? I think he can coach, he seems to like coaching at Charlotte, granted his kid is on the bench, so he’s not going to spoil that for him. Coaches with their kid on the team, irritate the hell out of me tho.
I don’t want another reboot, but I’m very apathetic about fearne. Holdovers from Sanchez makes me shudder as well.
My guess is he gets next year to show any life. Rinse. Wash. Repeat.
